The recent Cooperative Member Education activity held at NASFAM offices in Lilongwe brought together members of the JJ Maravi Group, comprising organic ginger farmers engaged in international trade. The participants, hailing from different parts of Malawi, exhibited keen interest and a swift understanding of the information shared during the training.
The session, led by Mafeco officers Mr. Mulangeni and Miss Kalima, highlighted the significance of forming a cooperative. The cooperative structure is poised to enhance productivity and profits for these organic ginger farmers. By joining forces, they can leverage collective resources, share knowledge, and access markets more efficiently, ultimately contributing to the overall success of their agricultural endeavors.
